 Building Code Committee Developes positions, code change proposals for the International Building Code at the state and national level. 
 Plumbing, Mechanical and Gas Code Committee Developes positions, code change proposals for the International Plumbing, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Code at the state and national level. 
 Building Maintenance Code Committee

Developes positions, code change proposals for the International Building Maintenance Code at the state and national level.

 
 Legislative Committee Monitor, address and propose legislation that affects the building codes and the construction and housing industry. 
 Membership Committee Promote mebership in the organization. Address issues of concern to the members. 
 Education Committee Monitor the education needs of the organization. WOrk with state and other agencies to devleop education opportunities. 
 Residential Code Committee Ellis McKinney, Arlington County Developes positions, code change proposals for the International Residential Code at the state and national level. 
 Awards & Resolutions Committee Edith Hampton, Pulaski County Organize annual awards and scholarship programs. 
 Time and Place Committee Determine location of annual and mid-year conferences. Arrange facilities for each. 
 Nominations Committee

Recieve and evaluate potential nominees for organizational positions.

 
 Public Information Committee Devlopes programs to promote the organizations public profile 
Administrative Committee  Reviews and recommends changes to the USBC 
 Energy Code CommitteeRichard Fortner, City of Norfolk Develop positions and code proposals for the International Energy Conservation Code
 Small Jurisdiction CommitteeIdentify issues and make recommendations to teh Board regarding smaller jurisdictions 
 Past Presidents Council   Assist in planning of goals and strategies for the organization.
